When it comes to cars, most Americans can’t afford to buy a brand new, high-end vehicle.
In fact, the average American spends an average of $3,000 a year on the car industry, according to a study by CarMax.
But how much is too much?
Here are 10 priciest cars on sale right now:1.
Cadillac CTS: $56,9502.
Porsche 911 Turbo: $54,4503.
Aston Martin DB9 Vantage GT3: $53,5004.
Lexus RX 300h: $52,7005.
Ford Mustang GT: $51,9506.
Audi A3:$51,6507.

Porsche 918 Spyder: $47,6009.
Lamborghini Aventador LP500-4: $46,95010.
Jaguar XF: $45,900The study also looked at the average price of cars in general and found that average annual spend is $43,900.
That means that if you spend $3 million, you’ll be spending an average $11,600 a year, or about $9,400 a year for a year.
So, the $9.4 million you spend on a new car, if you want to keep your average down to $7,600, you should probably look into saving some money for that.
